Hannibal Brooks
Senior Insight Associate
Prior to joining Olson Zaltman, Hannibal acquired experience in a number of research contexts. As an undergraduate he studied food science, implementing policy in the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Office, evaluating antibiotic replacements in chickens for the poultry industry, and sequencing bacterial DNA to identify cold tolerance mechanisms with Cornell’s food science department. His graduate studies in business helped develop his interest in consumer psychology and marketing innovation.
Hannibal graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Food Science and Technology from Mississippi State University and with a Master’s in Commerce from the University of Virginia. Ever the student of human behavior, Hannibal is an avid fan of movies and television, writing spec scripts in his spare time. He also enjoys trivia, appearing as a contestant on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
